Marketing plays a vital role in modern economies; therefore, competent marketing professionals are in demand by businesses of all sizes. The major in Marketing provides students an opportunity to learn the essential functions of marketing within the larger context of business administration.
The major consists of 17 3-semester hour courses, for a total of 51 semester credit hours.

All business administration majors should take MTH 131 or higher as part of the University General Education Requirements. Business students, especially those considering attending graduate school, are encouraged to take ACC 205 and mathematics through calculus.
